TalkTalk is offering its TV customers free access to UKTV pay channels including GOLD, Watch and Alibi this Christmas.
From now until January 5, customers with a TalkTalk TV box will be able to get GOLD, Watch, Alibi, Eden, Good Food and Home on their screens for no extra cost. The UKTV channels are normally only available if you’ve signed up for either the Entertainment or Entertainment Plus Boosts – extra packs of channels that can be bolted on to TalkTalk TV subscriptions.
Related: What are TalkTalk Boosts?Normally, Essentials TV customers can get the Entertainment Boost for an extra £10/month while Plus TV punters can get it for £5/month.
Regardless of whichever subscription you’ve signed up for, all TalkTalk TV customers can also access UKTV Play, a catch-up service that gives you access to shows from UKTV’s non-pay TV channels, including Dave, Really, Yesterday and Drama.
In addition to this, TalkTalk customers who’ve not jumped ship following the loss of several thousand customers’ details, will be in line for some free upgrades, the precise details of which are due to be announced tomorrow.
