Watch webwands as W: Channel waunches with same day EastEnders wepeats

Pay channel Watch today rebrands as W, a premium entertainment channel that’ll feature same-day repeats of BBC One’s EastEnders alongside Get Me To The Church and Honey I Bought the House

Launch night shows include Sara Cox ON Friendship, which promises to take a look at how social media has changed relationships. Other staples of the new-look channel W include hit US imports including horror series The Strain, Grimm and Code Black, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and CSI: New York

W and its HD equivalents replaces Watch in the programme guide slots on Sky TV (channel 109/245) and Virgin TV (124/191). As well as being able to catch all of the action on W in both SD and HD, Sky and Virgin TV customers can also catch up with the best of W’s content on an on-demand basis; although if it’s EastEnders episodes you’re after, you’ll probably have better luck with BBC iPlayer.

While W is currently only available to BT TV and TalkTalk TV subscribers in standard definition (407), customers of either service can access W content on a catch-up basis too
