Tonight will see Germany play Portugal in the opening stages of the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
The clash at the Arena Fonte Nova will be the 100th game Germany has ever played in the competition, and promises to be an explosive game between two top-tier teams. Will Germany dominate or will tonight see Portugal triumph?
The only way to find out is to tune in to ITV from 5pm. Here’s how you can catch all the action on your TV and online.
Where can I watch the Germany vs Portugal World Cup game on…
Freeview and YouView
Tune into Freeview and YouView channel 3 to catch Germany vs Portugal in standard definition and ITV HD on channel 103 to watch the game in HD.
Freesat
ITV standard definition is found on channel 103. Viewers in England, Wales and the Scottish Borders can watch it the game in high definition on channel 119.
In Northern Ireland and Scotland, channel 119 on Freesat is home to UTV HD and STV HD respectively.
Sky
Sky TV customers can get ITV in standard definition at channel 103. ITV HD is also available on Sky channel 178 in England, Wales and the Scottish Borders.
If you’re at home or the living room is occupied, you can use Sky Go to stream the game on your phone or tablet.
Virgin Media
Virgin Media TV customers can catch the opening game of the World Cup on ITV on channel 103 and in high definition over on channel 113.
Online – ITV Player and TVPlayer
You’ll be able to watch all of the ITV World Cup games live on the ITV Player. The TVPlayer app for iOS, Android and Amazon Kindle tablets will also let you stream Germany vs Portugal live.
