While we’ve been busy plugging our own ‘12 Days of Christmas’ promo (seriously, check out today’s prize), Sky’s just dropped an offer of free unlimited broadband for 12 months.
Available for a limited time to new customers signing up now, Sky’s Broadband Unlimited ADSL product, which gives you download speeds of up to 17Mbps, unlimited downloads with no traffic shaping, can be snapped up for free for a year.

This compares very well to similarly-pitched deals from the likes of Pop Telecom and Direct Save, both of which charge more for line rental or more overall.
New customers who want a bit more bandwidth can reach for a Sky Fibre, a superfast FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) service, which gives you download speeds of up to 38Mbps. Normally priced at £10/month plus line rental, Sky is currently giving this away for £5/month instead.
While that’s a very cheap superfast service, on the downside it’s a capped plan which limits you to 25GB of usage every month.
For those with a need for speed and no limits on their usage, you can now also pick up Sky Fibre Unlimited, which gives you the same top download speed of 38Mbps without any pesky monthly caps. Normally priced at £20/month plus line rental, this deal is also going for half price for a year.
You’ve got the option of taking the Sky Hub wireless router for no extra cost, besides that of postage and packaging (£6.95) with all packages.
The standard activation fee Sky charges for it’s Fibre broadband packages is £50, but new customers signing up for either Sky Fibre or Sky Fibre Unlimited will only have to pay £33 instead.
