T-Mobile will also be selling Sony Xperia S in the UK

Along with O2, Orange, Three and Phones 4U, T-Mobile just got in touch with us to say that it’ll be selling the Sony Xperia S as well.

Regrettably there’s no information forthcoming at this point in terms of price or a release date. Phones 4U has said that it’ll be selling the Xperia S from March, so we’d expecting all of the networks to be pick it up around the same time.

The Sony Xperia S is the first UK-bound phone to be announced following the intended merger of Sony Ericsson, therefore shedding the Ericsson part of the old moniker.

Its bleeding high definition from every pore; the big 4.3-inch screen has a display resolution of 1280 x 720 (aka 720p) the 12-megapixel camera records video at 1080p and even the 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera can record video at 720p. 32GB of onboard storage comes along for the ride, as does Android 2.3 Gingerbread, though we understand that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is most definitely on the cards.

We’re expecting to hear more about this over the coming weeks, so stay tuned. Until then, check out our hands on pictures and video of the Sony Xperia S, taken at CES 2012.
